Coral Studios successfully promoted the release of the Coral Studios x Nike Air Max 95 primarily online, generating enough market hype to increase its average resale price from its original price of $200 by 170% to $540, and spiking at nearly quadruple the original price at $770 (source: StockX).

 

Making the most of its limited release, our marketing mix consisted of an organic digital strategy, a charity popup in Philadelphia, a popup and panel at Miami Art Basel, and 60 gifted/seeded pairs for friends and family. The guerrilla-style digital rollout across Instagram and Twitter consisted of posts made by Coral Studios’s O&O channels with immense support from the creators, their social circles, and sneaker and streetwear communities. The “Coral Air” 95 was most notably worn by LeBron James, Sheck Wes, and DJ Clark Kent.
